Understanding this Secret Code Feature
In this latest feature users can hide their locked chats by a unique password, this password can be customized so you must choose something that will be easy for you to remember, if you want to access your locked chat then simply you just enter your secret code in search bar and then access them, in case if someone try to access your chats with incorrect codes then your chats will remain hidden.
Setting up the secret code for locked chat
Before using the secret code first you have to to lock some chats, follow step below
- First of all open WhatsApp and select chat you want to lock
- Then tab on three dots in top right corner and click on “Lock Chat” option for securing your chat in locked chat folder
- Once you have locked your chat then simply follow steps to set your secret code.
- Simply open locked chat folder in WhatsApp and then tab on three dots in top right corner and then click on *Chat Lock Settings”
- Select “Secret Code” option and then enter your code and then re-enter your code to firm it
- Tap on “Done” to finalize your setup with your secret code that you set and now you can hide your locked chats completely.
- Simply go back to chat lock settings and toggle the “Hide Locked Chats” option, now your locked chat will be removed from your chats folder and it will be accessible only with your secret code.
